City centre
More of a village than a town, De Beauvoir Town is filled with established residents who grew up here, started businesses, and settled down. A majority of the homes are semi-detached Victorians with class and character in spades. For anyone looking for peace and quiet, this is by far one of the best neighborhoods to live in. There are a number of restaurants here, primarily along the main roads that make up the neighborhood's borders. Walking the streets, you'll pass art galleries, vinyl record stores, boutiques, and shops selling home goods. If you are a fan of flowers, the hip florist Flower Appreciation Society is known for their creative arrangements. There is a strong community here, with lots of local events, exhibits, shows, and community newsletters.
Around the apartment
The local area around the Northchurch property brings together the best of London’s two juxtaposed worlds. It sits on a quiet street next to the private De Beauvoir Square so it is easy to relax. And for those who love parks, the enormous Victoria Park is close with a direct route down the picturesque Regents Canal. Yet, some of the most social parts of London are only a few paces away. Dalston, the trendiest place to go out in North London, is just around the corner. One of the best markets in the city, Broadway Market, and the adjacent London Fields are a very short walk away. And with Haggerston station nearby, Shoreditch is only three stops away. If you are someone who likes easy access to a bustling nightlife and restaurant scene, but with a calm home to come back to afterwards then Northchurch is for you.
